Driverless Soft-Codec Integration
The Q-SYS I/O-USB Bridge acts as a universal bridge between enterprise AV infrastructure and BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) or dedicated room computers. Operating without special drivers, it allows laptops and meeting room PCs to instantly recognize network-connected Q-SYS PTZ cameras and professional room audio processors as standard USB webcams and sound devices.
Flexibility Over Standard Ethernet
Traditional USB connections are strictly limited by distance constraints, making cable runs from conference tables to displays or equipment racks difficult. By leveraging standard IP networking, the I/O-USB Bridge receives audio and video streams over standard Cat5e/6 cabling via Q-LAN, allowing the USB port to be placed exactly where users need it without signal degradation or expensive extender hardware.
Unified Management via Q-SYS OS
As a native Q-SYS endpoint, the I/O-USB Bridge is configured using Q-SYS Designer Software and managed via Q-SYS Reflect Enterprise Manager. Integrators can dynamically route audio processing, echo cancellation (AEC), and video camera feeds straight to the device, ensuring consistent signal performance across enterprise deployments.
