The Panasonic PT-RQ25KU delivers high-performance 3-Chip DLP laser projection in an exceptionally compact and lightweight chassis. Designed for live events, projection mapping, museums, themed attractions, houses of worship, corporate experiences, and immersive installations, the PT-RQ25KU combines powerful brightness, advanced 4K image enhancement, and intelligent workflow tools to simplify deployment while delivering stunning visual experiences.
At up to 20,000 lumens of brightness, the PT-RQ25KU provides exceptional image impact while maintaining a smaller footprint than previous-generation high-brightness projectors. Advanced networking, optional Intel® SDM expansion, remote setup tools, and maintenance-free laser technology help reduce operating costs and streamline every stage of installation and operation.
The PT-RQ25KU is approximately 40% smaller and 35% lighter than the previous PT-RQ22K series, making transportation, handling, installation, and storage significantly easier. Integrated workflow tools including Smart Projector Control, NFC configuration, Remote Preview LITE, Visual Software Suite compatibility, and Intel® SDM expansion simplify setup and system integration.
Panasonic's proprietary Quad Pixel Drive technology produces remarkably detailed 4K imagery, while upgraded Dynamic Contrast enhances both bright highlights and deep blacks. Gradation Smoother minimizes color banding, and advanced black-level adjustment enables seamless multi-screen installations.
A hermetically sealed optical engine and high-efficiency liquid-cooling system support up to 20,000 hours of maintenance-free operation. Backup Input functionality and Panasonic's Multi-Laser Drive Engine with Failover Circuitry help ensure uninterrupted projection in mission-critical environments.
The PT-RQ25KU combines high-brightness projection performance with a chassis only slightly larger than many 10,000-lumen single-chip DLP projectors. Its compact dimensions reduce transportation costs, simplify installation logistics, and allow deployment in locations where traditional large-venue projectors cannot easily fit.
Through innovations including a miniaturized optical engine, optimized power supply design, advanced cooling architecture, and new optical materials, Panasonic has successfully delivered true large-venue performance in a smaller and more manageable platform.
Panasonic's Smart Projector Control App enables remote management of up to 64 projectors simultaneously from compatible iOS and Android devices.
Built-in NFC functionality allows installers to configure projector IDs, network settings, and IP addresses directly from a smartphone, even when the projector is disconnected from power. This dramatically reduces setup time for large fleets of projectors.
In addition to built-in test patterns, users can import and store custom calibration images. This enables installers to prepare projectors using customer content prior to connecting playback systems.
Free Grid geometry correction allows installers to adjust image shape directly using the projector remote control. Multiple grid resolutions ranging from 2×2 to 17×17 provide precise correction for curved surfaces, irregular screens, and projection mapping applications.
Panasonic Visual Software Suite (VSS) combines calibration, monitoring, setup, alignment, and adjustment functions into a single Windows-based application, reducing installation complexity and improving workflow efficiency.
The PT-RQ25KU works seamlessly with Panasonic ET-FMP50 Series media processors, providing advanced capabilities including automatic warping, blending, media playback, and automated multi-projector alignment.
Remote Preview LITE enables technicians to confirm incoming video signals through thumbnail previews before projection begins. This feature helps identify signal issues quickly and reduces setup errors during live events.
A dedicated information display provides quick access to operating status, runtime, network configuration, input signal information, firmware updates, temperature monitoring, and error diagnostics.
The integrated Intel® SDM standard-compatible slot allows organizations to expand functionality through optional Panasonic or third-party interface boards, media processors, and specialized integration modules.
Quad Pixel Drive utilizes Panasonic's advanced 2-axis pixel-shifting technology to create exceptionally detailed images at resolutions up to 3840 × 2400. Combined with high DLP pixel density, the technology produces clean, smooth visuals with impressive depth and clarity.
Panasonic's improved Dynamic Contrast technology achieves an impressive 25,000:1 contrast ratio, dynamically adjusting laser output frame-by-frame to optimize black levels, highlights, and overall image depth.
Gradation Smoother reduces visible color banding in low-bit-depth content by applying selectable correction levels that improve color transitions and image realism without requiring content modification.
Advanced black-level processing enables highly accurate multi-projector blending, including curved screens and complex projection surfaces. Up to 17 control points provide pixel-level precision for seamless large-scale displays.
Enhanced processing allows black-level correction both inside and outside image overlap areas, eliminating visible transitions and creating more cohesive multi-projector visuals.
The PT-RQ25KU supports both AC 100-120V and AC 200-240V operation. This flexibility allows setup and calibration to begin immediately using standard power sources before high-voltage event infrastructure becomes available.
The projector supports Panasonic's extensive 3-Chip DLP lens family, including ultra-short-throw, short-throw zoom, fisheye, fixed-focus, and long-throw lens options. Lens shift capability offers up to ±66% vertical and ±24% horizontal adjustment with compatible optics.
Backup Input functionality automatically switches to a secondary signal source within approximately 0.3 seconds if the primary signal fails, helping ensure uninterrupted presentations and event execution.
An integrated mechanical shutter protects the optical system from exposure to external laser lighting commonly found in concerts, live productions, and entertainment venues.
Panasonic's unique failover architecture allows projection to continue even if a single laser diode malfunctions, minimizing brightness loss and maintaining presentation continuity.
The sealed optical engine eliminates the need for air-filter maintenance while protecting critical components from dust contamination. Combined with advanced liquid cooling, the projector delivers long-term reliability with minimal service requirements.
