As the remote(client-side) endpoint in an HDBaseT USB extension system, it enables you to place user interfaces and USBperipherals at the point of use—such as behind a display, at a lectern, or under a conference table—while thehost computer and core equipment remain securely located in a rack, credenza, or equipment room.

What sets this model apart is its integrated DisplayLink capability, which—along with dual HDMI outputs—supports “screen extend” applications for both Windows and macOS environments when the appropriateDisplayLink drivers are installed.
