Features
The third-generation 0.69-inch native 4K D-ILA device offers an impressive native contrast ratio of 100,000:1. Improvements in the manufacturing process have enhanced screen uniformity, resulting in superior image quality that elevates the viewing experience.
JVC’s original BLU-Escent Laser light source has been optimized to achieve an exceptional peak brightness of 2,700 lumens while boasting a longevity of 20,000 hours. Housed in a compact casing, this laser light engine provides higher output, greater efficiency, and quieter operation, making it an ideal solution for demanding home theater installations.
Whether the source is 4K or 8K, the latest Gen2 8K/e-shiftX high-resolution display technology utilizes a 240Hz driver with a 4-way, multi-axis shift, flashing the screen four times to deliver pixel-perfect 8K resolution.
The 65 mm lens system comprises a 17-element, 15-group all-glass lens that projects high-resolution images to every corner of the screen. This system secures wide shift ranges of 80% vertically and 34% horizontally, enabling the faithful reproduction of distortion-free 8K images.
The second-generation Frame Adapt HDR function instantaneously analyzes different peak brightness levels per scene or frame for HDR10 content, performing real-time tone mapping for optimized brightness, color, and detail. When combined with modes like the new Deep Black function, the projector detects and analyzes data in HDR sources to project the best possible image. This includes:
The Vivid mode is designed to reproduce SDR content with a narrow dynamic range, featuring more saturated colors and greater vividness. This mode is particularly excellent for SDR animated works and gaming CGs.
With full 8K input enabled via the 48Gbps 8K/60p HDMI input with HDCP 2.3, the projector also supports a 4K120p input. This is particularly beneficial when using Low Latency Mode, making it ideal for high frame-rate gaming platforms.
