The Crestron® MPC4-302-B combines a powerful 4-Series® Control System processor and an intuitive room control interface in a single wall-mounted device. Designed for classrooms, conference rooms, training facilities, lecture halls, and enterprise collaboration spaces, it provides centralized control of displays, AV systems, lighting, shades, and building automation functions.
Featuring a modern design with customizable backlit buttons, integrated rotary volume control, PoE+ connectivity, and comprehensive device management capabilities, the MPC4-302-B delivers a complete room control solution without requiring a separate rack-mounted processor.
The MPC4-302-B features ten programmable backlit buttons that can be customized using included icon chips or optional laser-engraved labels. Each button illuminates blue when active and white when inactive, providing clear indication of selected sources, room modes, and automation functions.
A dedicated rotary volume knob with an illuminated circular volume gauge provides intuitive audio control, while dedicated power and mute buttons offer quick access to frequently used room functions. Built-in auto-brightness technology maintains optimal visibility in varying ambient lighting conditions.
Powered by Crestron's advanced multicore 4-Series® Control System architecture, the MPC4-302-B delivers significantly faster performance and enhanced processing capabilities compared to previous-generation platforms. The controller provides a secure, scalable infrastructure for managing multiple AV and building technologies from a single interface.
Integration support extends to Crestron touch screens, wireless remotes, mobile device applications, and web-based user interfaces, delivering a consistent control experience throughout the organization.
Built-in .AV Framework™ technology simplifies deployment by providing pre-engineered AV control capabilities that can be configured through an intuitive web-based interface. This enables faster installation and commissioning while reducing programming requirements.
For advanced applications, the platform also supports drag-and-drop development, symbol-based programming, and C# programming environments with full Unicode multilingual support.
Native integration with XiO Cloud® enables remote provisioning, monitoring, configuration, and lifecycle management of Crestron devices across enterprise environments. Administrators can deploy updates, monitor performance, and manage large-scale installations from a centralized cloud platform.
Built on Microsoft Azure®, XiO Cloud offers the scalability required to support thousands of connected devices across multiple locations.
The MPC4-302-B incorporates advanced security technologies designed to meet modern enterprise IT requirements, including:
These capabilities help ensure secure deployment across corporate, education, healthcare, and government environments while maintaining compliance with organizational security policies.
Utilizing Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+), the MPC4-302-B receives both power and network connectivity through a single Ethernet connection. This simplifies installation, reduces wiring requirements, and eliminates the need for a local power supply.
Compatible Crestron PoE+ switches provide a complete power and networking solution for integrated room control deployments.
The integrated Cresnet® server port enables direct connectivity with Crestron lighting controls, shades, occupancy sensors, thermostats, keypads, and other building automation devices. The controller can support approximately 20 Cresnet devices directly and can be expanded using Cresnet hubs or Ethernet-to-Cresnet bridges when additional capacity is required.
The MPC4-302-B includes multiple built-in control interfaces for direct integration with third-party equipment and room technologies:
These interfaces allow control and monitoring of displays, projectors, document cameras, projection screens, lifts, sensors, and other low-voltage devices without requiring external control hardware.
Designed for flush mounting in a standard 3-gang U.S. electrical box, the MPC4-302-B delivers a clean and professional appearance in meeting rooms, classrooms, and presentation spaces. It can also be installed in lecterns, podiums, and custom furniture applications.
A removable front cover allows button labels to be changed as room requirements evolve, while an included security screw helps prevent unauthorized removal.
Using the optional tabletop kit, the MPC4-302-B can be transformed into an elegant freestanding control station for conference tables, executive boardrooms, training rooms, and reception areas.
