The DM-NVX-371C is a high-performance DM NVX® AV-over-IP encoder/decoder card designed for secure, scalable 4K signal distribution across enterprise, education, and campus-wide networks. Installed within a DMF-CI-8 card chassis, the DM-NVX-371C can operate as either a transmitter or receiver, delivering visually lossless 4K60 4:4:4 video over standard Gigabit Ethernet with no perceptible latency.
Equipped with a built-in 2x1 video switcher, the DM-NVX-371C features one HDMI® input and one USB-C® input, allowing seamless connectivity for laptops, conferencing systems, presentation devices, and small form-factor computers. Automatic input switching, control system integration, and web-based management simplify operation in modern collaboration environments.
The DM-NVX-371C utilizes the purpose-built DM NVX System on Chip (SoC), delivering enhanced performance, improved thermal efficiency, and a compact design while maintaining full interoperability with all DM NVX endpoints. The platform preserves the renowned Pixel Perfect Processing technology that ensures exceptional image fidelity across the network.
Designed for real-time content delivery, the DM-NVX-371C supports full-motion 4K60 video for applications including digital signage, videoconferencing, live camera feeds, and interactive presentations. Pixel Perfect Processing technology enables visually lossless transport with end-to-end latency of less than one frame while preserving source quality over standard 1 GbE networks.
A built-in 4K scaler optimizes output resolution for connected displays, while integrated video wall processing supports configurations of up to 64 displays. Adjustable zoom controls and bezel compensation provide the flexibility required for large-scale video wall deployments.
Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) support allows audio from connected displays to be transported over the network as multichannel audio-over-IP streams. The DM-NVX-371C supports lossless 7.1 surround sound formats, including Dolby Atmos®, Dolby TrueHD®, DTS:X®, DTS-HD®, and uncompressed PCM audio.
Integrated downmixing capabilities automatically convert multichannel audio to stereo for compatibility with local audio systems. Native AES67 support enables seamless audio embedding, de-embedding, and interoperability with Crestron DM NAX® and third-party AES67-enabled devices.
The USB-C® input supports DisplayPort™ Alt Mode video, bidirectional USB 2.0 data transfer, and up to 100 W USB Power Delivery (PD). Built-in USB 2.0 and KVM routing capabilities allow keyboards, mice, and other peripherals to be extended and switched across the network, simplifying remote workstation and collaboration applications.
The DM-NVX-371C features dual RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet ports and an SFP fiber port, providing deployment flexibility across copper or fiber infrastructures. The platform can operate on existing enterprise networks or dedicated AV-over-IP networks while supporting daisy-chain configurations and large-scale content distribution architectures.
Built to meet modern IT requirements, the DM-NVX-371C incorporates advanced security technologies including 802.1X authentication, Active Directory® integration, AES-128 encryption, PKI authentication, TLS, SSH, and HTTPS. These features help protect AV content while ensuring secure operation on enterprise networks.
Configuration and management can be performed through the onboard web interface, Crestron XiO Cloud® platform, or DM NVX Director® virtual switching appliances. These tools provide centralized monitoring, provisioning, virtual matrix switching, and large-scale system management capabilities for enterprise deployments.
The DM-NVX-371C is ideal for corporate conference rooms, higher education campuses, command and control centers, hospitality venues, digital signage networks, and large-scale AV distribution systems requiring secure, high-quality 4K AV-over-IP performance in a high-density rack-mounted solution.
