The Crestron® MPC4-102-B combines a powerful 4-Series® Control System processor with an intuitive wall-mounted control interface in a single compact device. Designed for classrooms, meeting rooms, lecture halls, training facilities, and collaborative workspaces, it provides centralized control of AV systems, displays, lighting, shades, environmental controls, and other room technologies.
Powered through Power over Ethernet (PoE), the MPC4-102-B simplifies installation by requiring only a single network connection for both power and communication. With extensive connectivity, built-in automation capabilities, and enterprise-class management tools, it serves as a complete room control solution without the need for a separate rack-mounted controller.
The MPC4-102-B features nine customizable capacitive buttons that can be labeled using included icon chips or optional laser-engraved inserts. Each button provides clear visual status indication with blue illumination when active and white illumination when inactive.
Additional controls include dedicated power, volume, and mute buttons, along with an integrated volume level gauge for intuitive operation. Built-in proximity sensing automatically activates the interface when users approach, while auto-brightness technology adjusts illumination for optimal visibility in any environment.
Equipped with a high-performance multicore 4-Series processor, the MPC4-102-B delivers significantly enhanced processing power and responsiveness for modern automated environments. It provides a secure and scalable platform capable of managing multiple technologies across a room or facility while supporting future expansion requirements.
The system enables seamless integration with touch screens, mobile apps, wireless remotes, and other Crestron control interfaces, delivering a unified user experience across the enterprise.
Unlike traditional room control systems that require separate processors and control panels, the MPC4-102-B combines both functions into a single device. Integrated control ports provide direct connectivity to AV equipment and third-party devices, reducing hardware requirements and simplifying deployment.
Built-in interfaces include:
Additional expansion options are available through Crestron wired and wireless control modules, gateways, and Ethernet-to-Cresnet bridges.
Built-in .AV Framework™ technology enables fast deployment of fully functional AV presentation systems without requiring custom programming. System setup can be completed through an intuitive web-based interface, reducing installation time and accelerating room commissioning.
For advanced applications, the controller also supports drag-and-drop programming, symbol-based development, and C# programming environments with multilingual Unicode support.
The MPC4-102-B integrates with Crestron Fusion® software to provide centralized room scheduling, monitoring, asset management, and reporting. Organizations can track room utilization, automate building systems, monitor equipment health, and reduce energy consumption from a central management platform.
This makes it ideal for enterprise campuses, higher education facilities, government buildings, and large-scale commercial deployments.
Native support for XiO Cloud® enables remote provisioning, monitoring, and management of Crestron devices across an organization. Administrators can configure systems prior to installation, deploy updates remotely, and manage large deployments from a centralized cloud-based platform.
Built on Microsoft Azure®, XiO Cloud provides enterprise scalability for managing thousands of connected devices across multiple locations.
Designed for modern IT environments, the MPC4-102-B incorporates advanced security features including:
These capabilities help ensure compliance with corporate security policies while simplifying deployment across large enterprise networks.
The MPC4-102-B is designed for flush mounting in a standard 1-gang U.S. electrical box and can be installed in walls, lecterns, podiums, and custom furniture applications. An optional retrofit mounting bracket allows installation into a 2-gang electrical box when required.
A removable front cover enables quick label updates, while an included security screw helps prevent unauthorized access or removal.
