Description
A perennial AVPro commercial workhorse, the ConferX AC-CX-84 receives an update with powerful new tech-driven features. Its eight inputs (two HDBaseT and six HDMI) can be simultaneously matrixed to four displays via two HDMI and two HDBaseT outputs. Switching between sources is now instant and delay‑free. Bidirectional RS-232 via HDBaseT I/O and a local diagnostics window add newfound transparency to signal traffic and control.
New scaling options include 720p, 1920x1200, 2560x1080p, and 3840x1080p ultrawide formats, ideal for DVLED walls and next‑gen displays. Automatic EDID detection removes compatibility conflicts, and Aspect Ratio Conversion ensures accurate scaling for 21:9 environments. HDMI 5‑volt toggling and HDMI Stream Control support modern CODEC devices by emulating Hot Plug Detect events and disabling scaling when no video is present.
