Designed for maximum flexibility, the APF-15TUC can be flush mounted or recessed into interioror exterior walls and ceilings. Recessed installations require only a 5.5-inch deep opening orrecessed enclosure. The speaker is compatible with AtlasIED L20 Series grilles, enclosures, andmounting rings, while optional MK-2 and FAMT-6 mounting kits provide additional installationoptions for use with 8-inch diameter baffles.
The integrated 25V/70.7V Vari-Tap® transformer features a convenient screwdriver-adjustable7-position wattage and impedance selection switch, allowing installers to quickly configure thespeaker for a variety of distributed audio systems. A self-aligning, field-replaceable diaphragmensures simplified maintenance and long-term reliability.
For enhanced system monitoring, the APF-15TUC includes a built-in 5 mfd capacitor for linesupervision applications. Wiring terminals are protected by a vandal-resistant adapter cover,making the speaker suitable for demanding installations where durability and security are essential.The enclosure is finished in a durable gray baked epoxy coating for long-lasting performance inchallenging environments.
