The Allen & Heath M-SQ-SDANTE64-A is a professional Dante networking expansion card that adds 64×64 channels of bidirectional audio connectivity to Allen & Heath SQ digital mixers and AHM-64 audio matrix processors. Designed for live sound, installed audio, education, corporate AV, and broadcast environments, the card provides low-latency networked audio transport while simplifying system integration across Dante-enabled infrastructures.

64×64 Dante Audio Connectivity

The SQ Dante 64x64 card delivers up to 64 input channels and 64 output channels over a Dante network, allowing audio to be distributed efficiently between mixers, DSP processors, amplifiers, stage boxes, recording systems, and other Dante-enabled devices.

Supporting operation at both 96kHz and 48kHz sample rates, the card maintains exceptional audio quality while providing flexibility for integration into a wide variety of professional audio systems.

Expand the Power of Your SQ Mixer

By installing the M-SQ-SDANTE64-A, SQ mixers gain direct access to the widely adopted Dante networking platform. This dramatically expands system connectivity and allows users to transport audio over standard Ethernet infrastructure instead of relying on traditional analogue cabling.

The result is a cleaner, more scalable, and more efficient audio network capable of supporting complex installations and demanding live productions.

Seamless Integration with Dante Networks

The card allows SQ mixers and AHM-64 processors to communicate directly with Dante-enabled amplifiers, stage boxes, DSP processors, wireless microphone systems, conferencing equipment, recording systems, and loudspeaker management platforms.

This flexibility makes the card an ideal solution for venues adopting network-based audio transport and centralized routing workflows.

Digital Splits and System Expansion

The SQ Dante 64x64 card simplifies digital audio distribution between multiple systems. Audio signals can be shared across front-of-house, monitor, broadcast, streaming, and recording systems without requiring analogue splitters or additional hardware.

This functionality is particularly valuable for houses of worship, theaters, education facilities, touring productions, and corporate event environments where multiple audio systems require access to the same sources.

Multitrack Recording and Playback

The card supports multichannel recording and playback using Dante Virtual Soundcard, enabling users to capture audio directly to a computer over the network. This provides a cost-effective solution for live recording, virtual soundchecks, training environments, and production archiving.

By eliminating the need for dedicated recording interfaces, workflows become more efficient and easier to manage.

Redundant Network Operation

Two network ports support both switched and redundant network modes. In redundant mode, a secondary network path provides automatic failover protection for mission-critical applications, ensuring audio continues to pass even if one network connection is interrupted.

For simpler deployments, switched mode allows direct connectivity within a single network structure.

Secure and Reliable Connectivity

Locking EtherCon connectors provide secure physical network connections, reducing the risk of accidental disconnections during live events and installed applications. This robust design enhances reliability in demanding professional audio environments.

AES67 Compatibility

Support for the AES67 networking standard enables interoperability with a broad range of Audio-over-IP systems beyond Dante. This allows organizations to integrate multiple networking technologies while maintaining seamless audio transport throughout the system.

AES67 compatibility is particularly beneficial in broadcast, enterprise, and large-scale installed audio applications where different networked audio platforms may coexist.

Dante Domain Manager Ready

The M-SQ-SDANTE64-A supports Dante Domain Manager (DDM), enabling secure device management, user authentication, and scalable routing capabilities across enterprise and campus-wide Dante networks.

This allows administrators to maintain control and security while managing large numbers of networked audio devices.

Easy Deployment and Control

An integrated Internal Control Network Bridge simplifies communication between the SQ control network and the Dante network, making configuration and management easier within mixed network environments.

Combined with plug-and-play operation and support for standard Ethernet hardware, the card allows fast deployment with minimal setup requirements.

Ideal Applications

The Allen & Heath SQ Dante 64x64 Card is ideal for live sound reinforcement, houses of worship, theaters, educational facilities, corporate AV installations, conference centers, broadcast environments, recording studios, and any professional audio system requiring high-capacity Dante networking, digital audio distribution, and multitrack recording capabilities.
