The Allen & Heath M-DL-DANTE128-A is a professional Dante audio networking card designed for dLive and Avantis mixing systems. Providing 128 channels of bidirectional audio transport over standard Ethernet networks, this expansion card enables seamless integration into live sound, broadcast, corporate AV, education, and large-scale installed audio environments.
The M-DL-DANTE128-A delivers up to 128 input channels and 128 output channels of Dante audio, allowing large numbers of audio signals to be transported efficiently across a network. The card supports operation at both 96kHz and 48kHz sample rates, providing exceptional audio quality while maintaining compatibility with a wide range of Dante-enabled devices.
This high channel count makes the card ideal for large productions, distributed audio systems, and complex installations requiring extensive audio routing between multiple locations and devices.
Designed specifically for Allen & Heath dLive and Avantis platforms, the M-DL-DANTE128-A integrates directly into the console architecture, providing native Dante connectivity without requiring additional conversion hardware.
The card enables simple connectivity between mixing consoles, stage racks, DSP processors, amplifiers, recording systems, and other Dante-enabled equipment across a single network infrastructure.
The M-DL-DANTE128-A is particularly valuable in applications where high-channel-count digital splits are required. Audio can be shared between front-of-house and monitor consoles, broadcast systems, recording rigs, and secondary production systems without introducing signal degradation or unnecessary complexity.
This capability makes it an excellent solution for touring productions, festivals, houses of worship, theaters, and broadcast facilities.
For mission-critical applications, the card includes both Primary and Secondary Dante network ports. These connections can be used for audio network redundancy, ensuring uninterrupted operation should a network fault occur.
Alternatively, the ports can be configured in switched mode to simplify network connectivity while retaining maximum flexibility for system design.
A dedicated Control Network port is provided for configuration and management through Dante Controller software. This allows system administrators and audio engineers to monitor devices, route signals, and manage the Dante network without affecting audio performance.
An internal network bridge function further simplifies integration by allowing communication between the Allen & Heath control network and the Dante control network when required.
The M-DL-DANTE128-A supports the AES67 networking standard, enabling interoperability with a broad range of Audio over IP technologies used in broadcast, installed sound, and live event environments.
This compatibility allows organizations to integrate Dante-based systems with other networked audio solutions while maintaining high-quality, low-latency audio transport.
Support for Dante Domain Manager (DDM) enables deployment within larger enterprise and campus-wide audio networks. DDM provides centralized security, authentication, device management, and routing capabilities, making the card suitable for large-scale professional installations.
The card enables direct multitrack recording through Dante Virtual Soundcard, allowing
