The Panasonic ET-RFV500 is a replacement filter unit for select Panasonic projectors. It is an air filter that prevents dust from accumulating on the projector's optical elements. If the filter becomes clogged with dust, it can reduce the cooling fan's effectiveness and cause internal heat buildup, which can shorten the projector's life. It is designed specifically for use with the Panasonic PT-VMZ71, PT-VMZ61, PT-VMZ51, PT-VMZ51S, PT-VMZ41, PT-VMW61 and PT-VMW51 projectors.
