MoveMic Lav Clip-On Wireless Microphone for Mobile Devices & MoveMic Receiver
The MoveMic Lav by Shure is an additional clip-on lavalier microphone that expands the capabilities of the MoveMic One system to accommodate two microphone-wearing individuals simultaneously. This system allows for easy recording directly to your phone using Shure's free MOTIV Audio and Video apps, or to your camera with the MoveMic Receiver (available separately)
The MoveMic Lav is designed to provide high-quality sound with its omnidirectional pickup pattern, ensuring clear and intelligible speech and vocals. It also includes a windscreen to reduce wind and breath noise.
You can configure audio settings such as gain, limiter, compression, noise reduction, and EQ using the free ShurePlus MOTIV Video or Audio apps. These apps also allow you to record and livestream your content directly from your phone at a distance of up to 100 feet. Shure's proprietary in-app Bluetooth technology prioritizes audio input, ensuring reliable, broadcast-quality sound and enabling simultaneous audio recording from two people
The MoveMic Lav can operate at normal RF power or high RF power, depending on your needs. However, high RF power is only available in the Americas and not in all regions.
The MoveMic Lav is designed to be discreet and almost invisible, with a small form factor that won't distract from your shots. It is also rated IPX4 for water resistance, making it suitable for use in rainy or splash-prone environments.
The MoveMic Lav features an internal rechargeable battery that can be charged using the MoveMic Charging Case (available separately). When recording directly to your phone, the MoveMic Lav can operate for up to 11 hours on normal RF power and over 8 hours on high RF power. Additionally, the charging case provides two additional eight-hour charges, giving you at least 24 hours of recording time with a full charge 1.
Once paired, the MoveMic Lav will automatically reconnect to the last device it was paired with when removed from the charging case and powered on.
The MoveMic system can connect directly to your phone via Bluetooth without the need for a separate hardware receiver. However, for compatibility with third-party apps on mobile devices, DSLR/mirrorless cameras, and computers, you can add the dual-channel MoveMic Receiver (available separately)
